About Start Business Site

Hello, my name is Jeff Baron.  Start Business Site is an introduction to starting a home business site.  I am 27 years old, married with five wonderful children (3 step kids and two little boys of my own) and I reside in Dallas Fort Worth, TX.  I served 7 years in the U.S. Navy and during my first year I only made $14,000.  I knew it wasn’t enough for what I wanted to do, from having a nice car and home to having the time and money to donate to my favorite charities.  I thought about getting a part time job and my friend and mentor introduced me to a book that would change my life, RICH DAD POOR DAD.  For the next 5 years I searched for a business, read self-help books ranging from sales to leadership, and worked hard in the Navy.   In 2008 I got married and needed an attorney to rework my wife’s child custody agreement so they could move to California with me.  I was asking my supervisor for legal advice and he told me he wasn’t an attorney but could recommend a revolutionary pre-paid legal service to me.  For $17 a month I could get unlimited legal help.  I soon realized that the person who sold me the plan did it from his own home business.  I got started and in the first two weeks I was able to earn an extra $300 from home.  It hasn’t made me rich but starting a home business site has been quite the learning experience .  In June 2009 I was able to finish my time in the Navy and return home to Dallas Fort Worth, TX.  With the encouragement and tons of help from my brother I decided to create StartBusinessSite.com to share what I’ve learned and to inspire others with a positive motivational message.
